| The overall aim of the wetland HAP steering group
is to coordinate and facilitate action required to meet the
published national targets for the fens, reedbeds, grazing marsh
and lowland raised bog priority habitats. Taking the published
action plans as the common agenda and basis for implementation,
the joint steering group and constituent working groups will
also maintain an overview of: integration and furtherance of
species targets, liaison with local BAPs, liaison with other
HAP groups on common issues and potential areas of conflict,
definition and dissemination of targets at country, regional
and local level, and of funding strategies. |
