Peatering out - Towards a sustainable growing media industry

‘Peatering Out’ was launched in summer 2001 and outlines a ten-year plan for the development and marketing of peat alternatives. The lowland raised bog action plan has the target of meeting a minimum of 40% of total market requirements based on non-peat materials by 2005 and 90% by 2010.
