In April 2005, English Nature and The Countryside Agency combined their grant schemes delivering Defra�s Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF) to form the ALSF Partnership Grants Scheme. This report details the successes of the new Partnership Scheme from April 2005 to March 2006. The diversity of the projects that have been funded over the last year is considerable, ranging from a small community led project in Cambridgeshire to a large habitat enhancement project in Yorkshire, involving a number of key stakeholders. A selection of case studies is included at Annex B of this report.
